About
I’ve been thinking about writing something for a long time, not just as a way to establish an online presence, but to keep track of all the ideas that I had and were lost due to the nature of human memory. We’re not machines at all; it is impossible to recall every insight.
I started using Notion to solve this problem: it did not work. I attempted to use a simple Kanban , but is possible that this specific case is not the correct way to organize ideas. It ended up with a ton of tasks with simple notes, and I could not keep track of where the ideas and tasks originated from. I need something simple, like https://wiki.c2.com. Probably, I’ll revisit Notion and try to figure out a way to organize the Kanban and write more descriptive cards.
I’m planning to write everything here: crazy ideas, insights, and notes about software development in a general way. Some texts might look like a poor tutorial, so I can revisit things that I did once in the past and forgot how to do again; others might be just ideas and rants about how to incorporate some tools or ideas into my daily workflow, and some may be some interesting concepts that I’ve been thinking or are being actively developed.
That said, I am still considering what platform I’ll use to publish the ideas: the only requirement I have at the moment is the use of markdown to keep things simple: I do not want to keep an entire application just for that, and probably I’ll use the simplest layout possible (the objective is writing, not showing my frontend skills).
Welcome to this website, the result of everything mentioned above.
